From the Artist
I am profoundly influenced by the natural world and the incredible beauty of British Columbia. Whether on the water or in the woodlands I cannot not help but be inspired by the grandeur around me.
My artistic endeavours have led me on many different paths from the traditional education of architecture, interior design, to abstract acrylic painting. I found my place the day I walked into a glass studio. I was drawn to the interaction between natural light with glass and I am still creating in this medium some 20 years later. Fusing glass is a challenging process with endless possibilities which I find exciting. I enjoy adding fused glass to gold, fine silver, sterling silver to create unique jewelry. Making wearable art, uniquely handcrafted allows the wearer opportunity to express their own individuality redefining elegance.
